Reserve Best Exhibit at the Glendale Show 2009!

Whilst I was at my new Workshop at the The Hirsel getting it ready for the big opening armed with a paintbrush! my husband and daughter very kindly agreed to attend this year's Glendale Show for me.  I was thrilled when I evenutally arrived home tired and exhausted and covered in paint to see another Blue Rosette - Well Done Rob and Matea for displaying my stand so lovely that I won another award x

Third Prize at Northumberland County Show 2009!

This was my first time at the Northumberland County Show held at Tynedale Park in Corbridge on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2009.   It was a fantastic red hot sunny day and a great day was had by all.

Highlight for me was that I won third prize for the best trade stand and was the only winner from any of the marquees - I was over the moon!  Ok so it wasn't first or second but hey I have only been doing fairs for 10 months and its the largest agricultural show in the region so I was chuffed!  My bright yellow rosette has pride of place in my workroom and my husband and children have resorted to putting cotton wool in their ears because I can't stop talking about it!!!!

Here is a picture of my little boy in front of my stand the day before just after I had finished setting it up, and of course my bright yellow rosette!

Reserve Best Exhibit at the Glendale Show 2008

This was just my second craft fair ever and I won Reserve Best Exhibit at the Glendale Show in Wooler, Northumberland in 2008.   As you can imagine I was more excited about the rosette then any sales I had!   The Glendale Show is the premier show of North Northumberland and attracts around 12,000 visitors a year.
